Welcome to The Data Lodge! Before you head out to explore, take a moment to do the following:
â Reflect on what data & AI literacy means to you
â Read through this entire page
â Commit to showing up here regularly
We find that members who commit to onboarding get the most out of their membership.Â
We are people, data, and AI advocates who are approaching organizational data & AI literacy with intention so that we can empower everyone read, work with, and communicate with data & AI in context - in their work and lives.
We gather together - virtually and in-person, live and asynchronously - to support each other in advocating for data & AI literacy for everyone.Â
As the TDL Network, we:
â Connect with our Network peers
â Lead with mindset, language, and skills
â Learn and model data & AI literacy best practices
â Try new approaches, experiment, and have fun!
đď¸Â Working Together
You told us you felt alone in your passion for data & AI literacy. We built this space so change-makers never climb solo.
đĄ Collective Wisdom
Every challenge you face, someone here has conquered. Every victory you achieve lifts others.Â
đ¤ Career-Long Community
Your passion for literacy doesn't end with a job change. Neither should your community.
đşď¸ Proven Paths in Uncharted Territory
Data & AI literacy are emerging fields with evolving expectations. Our team at The Data Lodge shares tested methodologies and practical tips from client implementations at each stage of the journey.Â
đŻ Real Impact, Together
Empower people by making it personal.
Transform organizations from every angle.Â
Bring data & AI literacy to life - with a community who gets it.
There's no single path to data & AI literacy success -Â and that's the beauty of our community. Some members log in daily, others weekly. Some dive deep into discussions, others prefer to observe and learn.
Normal here means:
We designed the TDL Network for busy professionals. Meaningful engagement can happen in just 15-30 minutes per week.
That might be:
You can invest more time as you're able, but small, consistent engagement creates real valueâfor you and others.
đĄPro tip: Set up a 30-minute block on your calendar for the TDL Network. Specifying a day and time to work on the business instead of in the business can make a big difference.
Start with [email protected] for any technical or navigation issues. Within the community, look for members with an "Admin" label.Â
You can also post in the Q&A channel with questions. Feeling overwhelmed is normal in the first weeks; by week four you'll be showing others around!
You're exactly who needs this community most. Many of our members are the grassroots advocates for data and/or AI literacy at their organizations. You are the pioneers charting new territory.
The TDL Network provides frameworks, resources, and peer support to help you build the case for a literacy initiative, whether you're starting with a small pilot or dreaming big.
𪴠We'll help you plant the seeds and nurture them to growth.
Yes! Please stay! This is one of the main reasons that we created the TDL Network.
Your membership follows YOU, not your employer. Whether you change roles, change companies, or your organization's enterprise membership ends, you maintain your place in this community.
Your contributions, connections, and progress stay with you throughout your career journey. Data & AI literacy advocacy doesn't end with a job change, and neither will this Network.
Look for any of these milestones:
Rememberâprogress isn't always linear. Some weeks you'll be highly active, others you'll just observe. Both are valuable forms of participation.
You bring a unique perspective to our TDL Network. Please share some basics about you in your profile.
We want to get to know you! The Intros & Networking discussion channel is a great place to see who else is here and greet others.
RSVP to and join an upcoming call. Meeting your fellow Networkers live can be a bit intimidating - but only for the first 90 seconds or so.Â
