Absolutely! The large majority of our The Data Lodge community members don't have a technical background.
We focus on mindset, language, and skills with culture change at the heart of all we do. If you're passionate about helping people in your organization work better with data, regardless of your background (and their backgrounds), you belong here.
We designed the TDL Network for busy professionals. Meaningful engagement can happen in just 15-30 minutes per week.
That might be:
- One thoughtful Q&A response
- Attending a virtual event
- Completing one weekly onboarding exercise
- Reading and reacting to a few discussions
- Messaging a fellow TDL Networker to introduce yourself and/or meet
You can invest more time as you're able, but small, consistent engagement creates real value—for you and others.
There's no single path to data & AI literacy success - and that's the beauty of our community. Some members log in daily, others weekly. Some dive deep into discussions, others prefer to observe and learn.
Normal here means:
- Taking 4-8 weeks to complete onboarding (life happens!)
- Asking basic questions (they're never as basic as you think)
- Trying out a TDL resource, activity, or discussion question with your colleagues
- Using the VIA Model to outline and detail a new business use case
- Sharing both victories and challenges
- Participating at your own pace and comfort level
- Working together with TDL Network members to ideate, build, or test an initiative together
The TDL Network is your entry point to The Data Lodge's offerings at a fraction of the cost and a fraction of the commitment.
Our TDL Client Community provides full IP access, frequent Community Calls, complimentary events, and intensive peer collaboration for organizational transformation. Each member of the TDL Client Community is certified as a Data & AI Literacy Program Lead through Bootcamp or Base Camp PLUS.
For a fraction of the cost, the TDL Network offers foundational resources, community connections, and first access to our products. It's a perfect fit for individual change-makers and those exploring data & AI literacy initiatives for culture change.
Additionally, our TDL Client Community is an organizational membership that is not tied to any individual, while our TDL Network membership belongs to the individual, regardless of organization.
